Math tutoring begins with a grade-level assessment so that we can identify what the child knows and what he or she needs to learn. We then tailor an individualized lesson plan specific to each child. We make sure kids have a clear understanding of what is being done in their classrooms, shore up any gaps in their math knowledge and enrich their knowledge so that they understand what they are doing in math—and why—and are not just memorizing steps that they will soon forget.

 We are here to meet your needs. Every lesson can either focus on what the child is doing in school, shore up gaps, focus on enrichment, or be a combination of all three.

 We lay a strong mathematical foundation so that kids are able to understand--and love--math. Many kids start middle school with large gaps in their math knowledge. Not our students!

 We are also well known for getting kids top scores on the ISEE and the SHSAT and a large part of our success rate lies in the units we have prepared that teach every single math topic that appears on those tests. Over and over again our kids do well on the tests and we also hear back from parents that they do very well in private school and in the specialized high schools because they have started with such a strong foundation in math.
